Kathleen Faulkner
Donated by Kathleen Faulkner
Even as a young child, I always pursued art. Born and raised in Seattle, my training was at Cornish. I moved to Anacortes in 1983.
In the mid 1980s I began a jewelry apprenticeship lasting for five years. I continue to pursue my jewelry work as well as having always worked as a 2D artist. Jewelry and painting became a full time career in 2008.
I am the recipient of the 2019 Museum of Northwest Art Luminaries Award and currently have work on loan at the American Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo. I am a Board Trustee for MoNA and the Rick Epting Foundation.
